Best practice skills that help sexual health educators to improve the quality of education in their classroom. This training is offered virtually on a quarterly basis during two half days. Topics include teen pregnancy trends, foundational information on sexually transmitted infections and HIV, trauma-informed practice, inclusivity, managing personal values, and answering sensitive questions.

Families Talking Together

Communication skills for parents to support the delay of sexual activity for their teen. This training is for parents of 10-14 year olds and is provided in a two-hour, one-on-one session with a parent or couple.

Social and Emotional Wellbeing for Adolescents

Practice implementing and adapting social and emotional learning activities to meet the needs of all adolescents, particularly adolescents with disabilities. This training utilizes the University of Minnesota’s resource, “Social and Emotional Learning in Practice: A Toolkit of Practical Strategies and Resources”. This training is meant for any adult who may interact with youth with disabilities.
